SpaceOne

DESIGN & INSPIRATION

The design of the SpaceOne is inspired by space exploration & the design era known as "space-age" that became popular during the original space race of the 60s. This first collection includes a range of limited edition models made with three different high-quality materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium & Forged Carbon.

The origins of the SpaceOne brand and its very first collection Spaceone is a collaboration between Theo Auffret, independent watchmaker from Paris, and Guillaume Laidet watch entrepreneur.

The jumping hour function of the watch was developed by Theo Auffret's workshop directly and is made up of nine parts. All components are manufactured in Switzerland by the best suppliers, and the watch will be assembled in France in a dedicated workshop.

The watch features a Swiss automatic movement, a sapphire cockpit and a stainless steel “see through” case back . It features a black/orange FKM rubber strap and has a water resistance of 3 ATM. The watch's case size is 42x51.67 mm, with a case thickness of 12.6 mm and a lug width of 22mm. The minute disc is made out of sapphire for maximal transparency.

The movement is a P024 SOPROD Without Date version, self-winding mechanism, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and a power reserve of 38 hours. The Spaceone weighs 90 grams in Stainless Steel, 60 grams in Titanium and 30 grams in Forged Carbon. The strap and buckle add 30 grams to the watch-head.
